This group uses some other classical roots for the flag - banner of arms of the Celje (Cilli) blue with three golden stars, red-blue-yellow horizontal tricolour and the tricolour inverted to the traditional pattern - red-blue-white. The idea of replacement of one stripe with a yellow one was adopted latter, though not in the same design as here, as the naval jack.
