The coat of arms of Banja Luka is a golden outlined blue shield with golden representation of Ban's Palace and Roman Castrum with a chestnut leaf symbolizing the chesnut trees along the city avenues. In the base is a symbolic representation of the Vrbas river and the floorplan of the Orthodox Cathedral with the red shield with a white cross and four firesteels. It is based on the previously used arms. The flag is blue with the coat of arms and the name of the city inscribed white beneath it. The flag is used in several variations, without the inscription, with the inscription in Cyrillic or Latin latters, with inscriptions in Cyrrilic and in English, all with the coat of arms in full colours or with the negative shield representation. Previously used coat of arms of Banja Luka depicted all the basic symbols of the current one in simple design and without the national(istic) additions. No flag was reported.



Berkovići

The coat of arms used by Berkovići is modified Serbian arms - double headed white eagle with escutcheon of azure a cross with four fireirons or, over the heads a tricolour ribbon inscribed with the community name and crowned or, the eagle standing on a compartment, green valley with a cross, a grave monument (stečak) and a winding path argent and snow covered blue mountains and in the base two wheat ears or in saltire. The community is, allegedly, in a process of obtaining a heraldically proper arms.

The community was formed by secession of Srpska parts of the community of Stolac.



Bijeljina

The lesser coat of arms of Bijeljina is azure between two doves argent taloned gules reguardant volant a monastery dome argent issuant from a base also argent with a tau cross gules throughout. The middle arms is topped with a golden masoned crown with four embattlements and includes a corn and maize ears in saltire with a white ribbon inscribed with the city name. The greater coat of arms also includes supporters standing on a green mound: Filip Višnjić clad in folk attire holding a lute (gusle) and the flag of Srpska and Knez Ivo od Semberije in nobleman's clothes holding a bag of coins and the flag of the city of Bijeljina. Both flags have golden fringe, golden ferrules and golden dove shaped finials.
The monastery shown is Tavna, the tau cross represents the confluence of Drina into Sava. The supporters are actual historical figures from the city history. The crown also includes the facade of the city hall. The golden crown with four embattlements symbolizes a city with more then 100 000 inhabitants.
The flag is variation of the banner of arms: azure between two doves argent reguardant volant a monastery dome argent issuant from a base also argent with two barrulets wavy gules.



Bileća

The lesser coat of arms of Bileća is argent issuant from a tripple mount gules a cross azure throughout and in the inescutcheon of the second a double headed eagle displayed also argent armed or. The middle arms is set on a roundel barry wavy azure and argent in the base bordered with a circular ribbon inscribed with the municipality name. In the centre the lesser arms topped with a silver masoned crown with three embattlements between two oak branches with acorns proper. The greater arms includes the lesser arms crowned with a silver crown with two lions rampant with tails nowed as supporters standing on oval rocks with barry wavy azure and argent between them all on the top of the cranelations of two towers gules and a ribbon between them inscribed with the city name. The lion dexter is barry gules and argent holding the flag of Srpska on a tournament lace and sinister is gules holding the flag of Bileća on a tournament lace. Both lions have their other front paw replaced with a human hand holding a scimitar, the dexter armoured and the sinister naked. The flag of Bileća is gules two crosslets in sinister argent.
The flag is taken from the crest of the coat of arms of Kosača family, the Dukes of St. Sava and Lords of Herzegovina, from 15th century. The supporters are taken from the crest of the apocryphal arms of Nemanjić dynasty and the arms of Kosača. The embowed hands with scimitars remind to the historical arms of Rama (armoured) and Primorje (naked). The nowed tails of the lions remind to the year (13)88, when the Duke of St. Sava won victory over the Turks at the Field of Bileća.

Brod

The coat of arms of Brod is an oval shield withing a golden carouche divided into red over blue over white, with overall the black factory with smoking chimneys and a demi cog wheel in the base and a golden wheath with a flaming torch in the chief and a white line broken three time raising from dexter to sinister. On a golden ribbon beneath the shield it is inscribed the white name of the municipalitgy in Cyirillic and Latin script. A flag is not prescribed nor used.

Prior to 1992 the municiplaity was named Bosanski Brod, when it was renamed to Srpski Brod. The original name was returned in 2004 and it was changed to simply Brod in 2009.

The coat of arms of Čajniče depicts the Hotel Orijent with its characteristic steep roof, green hills, blue engrailed base representing the source Vrelo, coniferous trees, background skies in colours of the Serb tricolour in bend sinister, a golden sun and a masoned castle representing the tower of Herzog Stephen. Under the shield is a red ribbon bearing the name of the municipality. The flag in use is blue vertical flag with the coat of arms in its base, but it is not prescribed.
Prior to the adoption of the new arms, the municipality used another design: in a shield divided in bend sinistre, azure a coniferous tree vert and trierced per fess gules, azure and argent a depiction of the Church of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin overall, and with a blue ribbon inscribed with the white name of the municipality.



Čelinac

The coat of arms of Čelinac is red bordered blue shield with white elements depicting a cog wheel, mining tools, a clover leaf and mountains, with the name of the municipality inscribed in the chief. The flag is white vertical flag with the coat of arms in its centre. While the prescribed flag also includes the full name of the municipality under the coat of arms, the variation without such inscription is in actual use.



Derventa

The coat of arms of Derventa is in a shield shape dark red (burgundy) with golden charges in shapes of stylized hands and a wrench, symbols of unity of people and heavy industry, between them are symbols of natural wealth - mountain (Motajica), river (Ukrina) and fruits on a vine leaf. The stylized hands also forms symbols of an open book and leaves and in the centre there is a symbol of eternity - a flame. The ribbon at the top symbolizes the textile industry and is inscribed with the name of the municipality. In the top of the central design the "coat of arms of Nemanjić dynasty" (i.e. the arms of Srpska) is set in its proper colours. The flag is not prescribed.

The curent coat of arms of Derventa is variation of the design adopted prior to 1990. The only graphical difference is the original five-pointed star where the Serbian arms are set now, represents the socialism and self-government. The hands are originally described as symbols of the "franternity and unity" (the ideological phrase of the Socialist Yugoslavia). No flag was prescribed or reported.
In early 1990's variation without any symbol in place of the star was also used occasionally.



Doboj

The coat of arms of Doboj is in a golden shield notched with four firesteels shaped indentations and divided into four with thin fimbriation, overall a roundel gules with a fleur de lis or between four billets azure, in the base a bar angled barry of five azure and argent. On a ribbon trierced in Serb colours white inscription of the city name. Variations in details and colouring are recorded in use. The flag is not prescribed, table flags vertical with the arms in the base are recorded in use.



Donji Žabar

The coat of arms of Donji Žabar is a light blue shield with the red-blue-white tricolour on a staff waving ensigned with a golden annulet conjoined with a cross and two fire-irons addorsed, inscribed with the name of the municipality. In the base is a golden folk lute (gusle) with a bow and the coat of arms of Srpska ornament in the header. Behind the flag to the dexter three golden wheat ears are issuing and in the chief sinister a white opened book.

The municipality was established in 1990's from parts of the former municipality of Orašje, initially named Srpsko Orašje. Since 2004 renamed to the current name.



Foča

The coat of arms of Foča depicts in a blue shield in a white disk a golden rosette composed of a eight-petailed flower encircled with two rows of 24 squares. In the base there are two white wavy stripes. The chief, finmbriated white with a stripe protruding vertically towards the disk (stated to represent a bridge), is light blue depicting white shapes of Maglić mountain. The disk and waves together are sid to represent a flower. The flag used, which seems not to be prescribed (however, there is an indication that there may exists a decision regarding it), is white with light blue border and the coat of arms in its centre.

From 1994 to 2004 the municipality of Foča was renamed to Srbinje.
