The FAME is a site devoted to the systematic and scientific study of flags and coats of arms. Such symbols often bear strong political and other messages. Inclusion of those symbols here does not mean that the author supports or approves of the ideas they may stand for. |

Since the abolishment of the previous coat of arms in 2007 the rank flags derived from it are not in use although their legal status is unclear. The presidential flag depicting the new emblem is recorded in use, but its legal status is unclear as well.

The flag of the president of the Republic of Srpska is an armorial banner, i.e. it is of the same design as the coat of arms, but in rectangular shape. The flag is square, and fringed on three sides with gold.

The flag of the president of the parliament (Narodna skupština) is the square national tricolour with the emblem from the coat of arms (the white eagle) set in the middle. The flag is fringed on three sides with gold.
