The Juraj Dobrila University of Pula was established in 2006. The University is integrated, although having one individual faculty, an academy and a number of departments and other institutions.

Faculty of Economics and Tourism "Dr. Mijo Mirković"

The Faculty uses a circular seal with depiction of the Arch of the Sergii, an ancient Roman triumphant arch in Pula erected ca. 28 BC. Along the edges the Faculty name is inscribed and around it the University name and the year of School of Economy establishment.

The School of Economy "Dr. Mijo Mirković" (Viša ekonomska škola "Dr. Mijo Mirković") was established in Pula in 1960, acting as part of the Rijeka SCEOZ since 1973, and becoming the Studies of economy and tourism (Studij ekonomije i turizma "Dr. Mijo Mirković") in 1985, getting the current name in 1990. In 2006 becomes a part of the newly established Pula University, as Department for economy and tourism (Odjel za ekonomiju i turizam „Dr. Mijo Mirković“), regaining the faculty status in 2013.

While it had the department status, similar seal was used with appropriate inscription and without the University name.

Academy of Music in Pula

The academy, just as the previous department, use the modified University emblem that includes a stylized black G-clef interwoven with the crozier spiral and with the academy/department name along the bottom.

The Study of musical teaching (Studij glazbenog odgoja) was established in Pula at the Pedagogy Academy (Pedagoška akademija) in Pula in 1965, afterward on the Pedagogy Faculty (Pedagoški fakultet), and the Faculty of Philosophy (Filozofski fakultet) as the Musical Pedagogy Division (Odsjek glazbene pedagogije) and the Division for Acordian (Odsjek za harmoniku). With the establishment of the University in 2006. these were united into Department for Music (Odjel za glazbu), and in 2014 the Academy of Music.

Centre for Cultural and Historical Research of Socialism

The emblem of the centre consists of five inwards pointing black chevrons, forming a shape of a stylized voided five-pointed star.
