The pennant of a commander of a formation of naval vessels is triangular blue flag with white field by hoist with blue cross. The length of the white field is 1/3 of flag length (i.e. 1/2 width), while the width of the cross is 1/9 of the flag width near hoist.

The pennant of a commander leader of a group of naval vessels (flotilla) is triangular white flag with blue border all around. The width of the border is 1/8 of the flag width near hoist.

The marking of the senior officer in a group, in harbour or anchorage is triangular blue pennant.

The standard (stieg) of a commodore is split square white pennant with blue border all around. The width of the border is 1/10, with the split enters the field 4/10 of the flag hoist.

The commission pennant is long white triangular pennant, with part near hoist in the Croatian national colours (length of tricolour part 1/10 of total pennant length). There is a tassel made at the fly point of the pennant.
The commission pennant is hoisted from the top point of all naval ships, except for those that are commanded by a flag officer (officer entitled to some other commanding flag), in which case the appropriate flag replaces it.
